July veterans assistance in Laramie and Goshen and Platte Counties


CHEYENNE – A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services around Wyoming cities throughout July.

Laramie and Goshen counties

Crystal Emig is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. Emig can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims, or request healthcare.

Torrington: July 7 and 15 at the Workforce Services Center, 1610 E. M St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Torrington: July 20 at the VFW Post 2918, 925 W. 25th St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pine Bluffs: July 8, at the Senior Center, 309 Elm St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Most other weekdays Emig is available by appointment at her office. Please contact Crystal Emig at 307-256-1778 to schedule an appointment at any of the above locations.

Laramie and Platte Counties

Stephanie Davis is available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. Davis can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims, or request healthcare.

Her office is located at the Joint Force Readiness Center, 5800 Central Ave., in Cheyenne, and she will be available at the following locations:

Wheatland: July 9 and 23, at the Workforce Services Center, 1958 W. Mariposa Pkwy., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Vet Center in Cheyenne, will be scheduled as soon as it is open for outreach appointments.
