CHEYENNE – Beginning Tuesday, July 14, 2020 Laramie County Library System will once again offer curbside pick-up of library items. Curbside pick-up service will be available in Cheyenne on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10am to 1pm. The library building will be closed to the public until 2:00 p.m. on curbside pick-up days, however, staff will still be available to answer phone calls during curbside pick-up and the building’s open hours. More information and instructions on how to place a hold for curbside pick-up can be found by visiting LaramieCountyLibrary.org/curbside or by calling 307-634-3561.
The building and curbside hours will be in effect until at least October, 2020. If there is a surge in local cases, and health officials recommend stricter directives, the library will continue to provide curbside and online services while closing all facilities to the public. If the State Department of Health issues a stay-at-home order Laramie County Library System will close all facilities.
The Library Café will remain open for business Monday-Friday from 9am to 2pm. Both the Burns Branch Library and Pine Bluffs Branch Library will offer curbside services during their extended operating hours that begin July 13, 2020. These hours can be found at https://LaramieCountyLibrary.org/covid/
Interlibrary loans are available again as of Monday, July 6. A temporary book sale is available on the first floor with fiction, nonfiction, audiovisual, and children's material available for purchase. Meeting rooms will be unavailable for public use until at least August 30, 2020. The library will not host any in-person events until at least December 31, 2020.
Beginning Monday, July 13 visits to Laramie County Library facilities are extended to one visit per day for up to two hours per person/group. Face coverings are required for any individual three years of age or older wishing to utilize a Laramie County Library System facility, and social distancing measures will be enforced.
