***WARNING: The incidents portrayed below are REAL and reflect actual events. The names have been redacted to comply with the Privacy Act. If you value your Air Force career, you will not attempt ANY of the action described below. IF YOU DO, YOU MAY RECEIVE DISCIPLINE.***

Nonjudicial Punishment (Article 15)

A staff sergeant grabbed a fellow Airman’s spouse inappropriately after consuming alcohol. The Airman warned the SSgt not to do it again but the SSgt grabbed the spouse a second time, which led to an altercation. The commander determined the SSgt violated Article 128 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and imposed the following punishment: Reduction to the grade of senior airman (Suspended), 21 days extra duty and a reprimand. #keepyourhandstoyourself #alcoholisnotanexcuse

An airman first class was hanging out at the above party, and punched the SSgt 2-3 times after the SSgt grabbed the A1C’s spouse’s the second time. The A1C then decided to carry a personal firearm through housing to go check on a fellow Airman’s on-base residence, as protection from the SSgt who took the punches and had fled the party. The commander determined the A1C violated Articles 92 and 128 of the UCMJ and imposed the following punishment: Reduction to the grade of Airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. #punchdrunk #justcallSFSnexttime

An airman first class, who was supposed to be in designated self-isolation, was found in a fellow Airman’s dormitory room. This was a violation of the DSI order. The commander determined the A1C violated Article 92 of the UCMJ and imposed the following punishment: Reduction to the grade of Airman (suspended), 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. #stopthespread #followorders

An airman first class lied to a first sergeant when the A1C claimed to have smoked marijuana, which the A1C later admitted was false. Additionally the A1C drank alcohol in a restaurant in violation of the HPCON Bravo+ order. The A1C is also under the age of 21. The commander determined the A1C violated Article 92 and 107 of the UCMJ and imposed the following punishment: Reduction to the grade of Airman, 60 days restriction to base and a reprimand. #manypoordecisions #integrityfirst

A senior airman lied about testing positive for COVID-19 to get out of work. The SrA, with help from a “friend,” created a false TriCare online printout showing the SrA as COVID-19 positive. The commander determined the A1C violated Article 83 and 107 of the UCMJ and imposed the following punishment: Reduction to the grade of airman first class; Reduction to the grade of Airman (Suspended), forfeiture of $971.00 pay and a reprimand. #integrityfirst #showuptowork

Administrative Discharges

*Administrative discharges resulting from misconduct, including drug abuse, almost always result in a loss of some veteran benefits, specifically education benefits like the GI Bill.*

An airman first class was discharged for testing positive for MDMA (ecstasy) on a random urinalysis test. The A1C claimed it was a friend that slipped the MDMA in the A1C’s drink, but could not prove this. The A1C was discharged with an under honorable conditions (general) service characterization. #yespeoplestilldoecstasy #drugsarebadmkay

*All military justice cases are decided individually on their own merits and facts. There is no formula or table that determines the appropriate findings or action in a specific case. Specific cases are decided by the appropriate commander in that case alone. The above incidents were what the appropriate commander decided in those cases and do not determine decisions for future similar cases, which could be harsher or more lenient. We  hope every F.E. Warren Airman will read the above incidents, discuss them with fellow Airmen, be good wingmen, and help each other every day to avoid getting their own hashtag. #goodwingmenhelptheirwingmennotendupinthisemail*
