Soldier Spotlight

The Wyoming Army National Guard has more than 1,500 Soldiers under the direction of Major General Greg Porter. The WYANRG is home to Camp Guernsey Joint Training Center, an NGB Level 2 Joint Training Center, built on a tradition of the frontier forts of America’s early years. Camp Guernsey has more than 78,000 acres of maneuver area, training ranges, and 64 square miles of air space, and provides realistic, combat-based training opportunities.

Lt Gen. Daniel Hokanson used his social media to spotlight PFC Leah Urquhart who serves as a firefighter on drill weekends and as a Range Control Specialist during the week at Camp Guernsey Training Center Command. Urquhart joined the Wyoming Army National Guard in February 2018.

Lt Gen. Hokanson thanked PFC Urquhart for her pledge to the community and commitment to developing herself to enhance the readiness and lethality of our Wyoming National Guard and our nation.
