Cheyenne Elks Lodge working toward “Operation Care Package”

“Operation Care Package”

CHEYENNE - The local Cheyenne Elks Lodge 660 has been working hard on supporting our deployed troops through “Operation Care Package” this year. The organization will be sending 340 care packages to the deployed members of the Wyoming Army Guard. The community of Cheyenne has been extremely generous in donating items for these packages. This Saturday, Nov. 9, they will be putting those boxes together for shipment. There will be volunteers there from the Elks, the National Guard, Blue FCU, East High School, along with members of the community. The Cheyenne community has come together to show appreciation to the men and women who represent Wyoming and defend our country overseas. If you are interested in helping or donating funds to support the postage for this project, please feel free to contact Barb Spier at 307-421- 4927, or by email [email protected]
