CHEYENNE – We have waited over a year for the opening of Wyoming's first Panera Bread Bakery-Cafe. The eatery is ready and set to open Monday, April 8, located near the corner of Dell Range and Windmill.
Here at the Cheyenne Minuteman we were lucky to have a sampling of their bagels brought by in anticipation of their opening on Monday. Let's just say that you will not be disappointed! It's always great to welcome new businesses in Cheyenne and we wish them well.
The Bakery-Cafe will feature a dine-in and drive-thru location and also offer catering for your next gathering. You can also "avoid the line" and place your order online through their app or on the Panera Bread website. Panera Bread restaurants are known for its freshly baked goods, soups and salads, made to order sandwiches and healthy sides.
"We believe that good food, food you can feel good about, can bring out the best in all of us. Food served in a warm, welcoming environment, by people who care. To us, that’s good eating and that’s why we’re here." - Panera website
Not only is the restaurant bringing tasty convenient food options to Cheyenne, it is bringing an estimated 60-70 local jobs. They have been hiring and training the past month in preparation of its soft opening April 8th. The restaurant has set its official grand opening for Monday, April 22. The grand opening will celebrate with giveaways for the first 200 customers.
