Veterans assistance in Goshen, Laramie, Platte and Carbon counties


CHEYENNE – A state of Wyoming veterans service officer from the Wyoming Veterans Commission will conduct community outreach services in Wyoming cities throughout August.

Stephanie Davis and Windy Carter are available to meet with veterans and their families to discuss state and federal veterans’ benefits, Department of Veterans Affairs claims, or VA healthcare. 

Davis and Carter can also help veterans and their families apply for benefits, file claims or request healthcare.

Davis’s office is located at the Joint Forces Readiness Center, 5800 Central Ave., in Cheyenne. She will also be available at the following locations:

Wheatland: Aug. 15 & 28, at the Workforce Services Center, 1958 W. Mariposa Parkway • 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Rawlins: Aug. 13 and 27, at the Rawlins VA Clinic, 1809 E. Daley Street, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Cheyenne: Aug. 13, at the Vets Center, 3219 E. Pershing Blvd., 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Torrington: Aug. 14, at Workforce Services Center,  1610 East M Street, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Torrington: Aug. 26, VFW, 925 W. 25th Ave., 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
