Maj. Gen. Luke Reiner and three Wyoming Army National Guard soldiers, recognized for their excellence and their status of deploying overseas soon, were introduced to the Wyoming State Legislature Feb. 11, 2019. Spc. Brianna Dukart, a signal support specialist, and Spc. Fred Schlabach, an artillery fire control specialist, are both assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion 300th Field Artillery, based in Casper. Sgt. Tyler Prewett is a team leader in C Company, 1st Battalion, 297th Infantry Regiment, based in Afton. Reiner introduced each soon-to-be-deployed soldier on the Senate floor and then in the House of Representatives, where upon finishing the presentation, the group was asked to exit through the center aisle in order to shake hands with all the representatives. Reiner invited the legislators to attend the deployment ceremonies in several communities between now and October. “I am extremely proud of the work these three fine soldiers – and all of our Wyoming National Guard personnel – who serve your communities, our state and our nation,” Reiner added.
