Downtown Cheyenne (Cheyenne DDA) is collaborating with local businesses, the Cheyenne Animal Shelter and Yola Pet Rescue to bring a variety of “Dog Days of Summer” events to downtown.

UW Military Appreciation Day tickets available to veterans

University of Wyoming Athletics and Cowboy Football will again be hosting its annual Military Appreciation Day Sept. 28, as the Cowboys face the UNLV Rebels at War Memorial Stadium. Kickoff time is still to be determined.

  • Cheyenne Service Academy Information Day planned

    A Service Academy Information Day will be held in Cheyenne at Cheyenne Central High School on Saturday, September 7th, starting at 1:00 PM. This event is similar to others conducted in the spring at Casper, Cody, Kemmerer, and Ethete. This will be the only integrated Service Academy Information Day conducted this fall in Wyoming (Congressional Nomination applications are due at the end of October or early November) and is intended not only for parents and students in Southeast Wyoming but also for individuals in other parts of the State that could not attend the spring events.
